In this valley, I wonder why

The strangest things pass by and by

Behold the darkness covers the day

So that I cannot see the way

But by God’s grace I can defeat

The snares and traps that I may meet

And through His supernatural hand

He’ll lead me through this barren land

For as I walk, I know He is above

And that I can trust in His everlasting love
